Hi, I’m Milly!

I grew up in a real-life haunted house in Macon, GA, surrounded by my huge, wonderfully chaotic Southern family and one spectacular cat. Maybe that’s why I’m drawn to spooky stories, tangled family dramas, sassy Southern characters, and of course, anything involving fabulous felines!

I’m a classically trained, award-winning actress who’s performed in countless theater productions and appeared in starring and supporting roles on BET, Lifetime, CW, and Amazon. I graduated from Duke University with a BA in English and Drama and earned an MFA in Creative Writing from California Institute of the Arts.

Growing up, I was especially influenced by my two Southern grandmothers, who couldn’t have been more different. One was a high-society socialite who taught me the art of perfect posture, impeccable manners, and keeping my bookshelves as full as my dance card. The other was a semi-pro poker player and guard at the local prison, who showed me how to pluck a chicken, shoot a rifle, and bake biscuits from scratch. Their contrasting perspectives continue to inspire the characters I love to play.
